Photographs of the Forest of Dean showing the unique way of life as the region under goes great change captured by documentary photographer David Cross. "Ow Bist Owd Butty" was first published and exhibited in 2017/8 and is relevant today as a body of work as it captures the past and present using Landscape and Portrait formats and has created many signifiers as visual reference.
In the few years that have passed since the project was shown, several local icons have already moved on and been consigned to memory, the old trucks were scrapped, a few old buildings demolished to make room for the new. The times they are a changing.
